CONTAGIOUS, A DREAM IN 2006.
When we arrived in Dominican Republic in 2001 we dreamed of bringing our friends from the band "Contagious" . In 2004 when NCM was born we began doing trips to Dominican Republic. 4 trips later and in 2006 we got the call, "we want to go see your project in Domincan Republic along with 35 of our youth!" We weren't ready for them just yet, but with the help of Dr. Daisy in D.R. we risked it, and we had a wonderful time.

Here you'll see the pictures of that trip. They brought over 30 luggages full of clothing. They took wireless hair trimmers to cut the hair of children at no cost. They did dramas for the families. They sang to children, we were estatic to see our dream come true. It is true, to those that persist, there dreams and desires do come true! We hope this page encourages you to join us, we need you! and more importantly they, the poor, need you!

 

Ekklesia Church in Miami Sponsored this trip in Oct. 06' for us, Pastor Chris (below in the middle) and Kevin one of the youth leaders in Ekklesia also came. We thank you Pastor Chris for not only leaving the comforts of your home, leaving his pregant wife at home, but sponsoring the trip for us also.

 

As he visited our projects, and the towns we work in, one of them called "la tinaja"
which has no electricity, he felt the urge to donate a portable radio and rechargable batteries, which I took a month later on Nov. 06'

As we lifted the tent, children, teens and adults began to come, and filled the property eventually. They where amazed at how quickly a small home was built. You could here the comments "Wow, its so pretty" "Its bigger then mine". Pastor Chris felt led to do an alter call and about 25 children and adults came forward to accept Jesus as there Lord and Savior. It was already night as you can see in the picture below.
